H2, Inc., a leading global flow battery company, has been selected for the 2023 APAC Cleantech 25 by the US-based Cleantech Group. The APAC Cleantech 25 is a renowned recognition sponsored by ADB Ventures, the venture investment arm of the Asian Development Bank(ADB). Each year, a panel of industry experts rigorously evaluates and selects 25 innovative cleantech venture companies. Since its inception in 2018, the "APAC Cleantech 25" has represented a list of venture companies at the forefront of sustainable technological innovation in the Asia-Pacific region. It recognizes the most promising venture companies with the potential to make a significant impact on the climate technology within the next 5 to 10 years. The APAC Cleantech 25 report, released alongside the list, specifically highlighted H2’s innovative technology in long-duration, utility-scale energy storages that can replace fossil fuel power plants. The report also emphasized the environment-friendly aspects of H2's vanadium flow batteries, which can be reused or recycled even after a 20-year lifespan. These attributes contribute significantly to the sustainability of H2’s battery solutions. Such H2’s advanced technologies are expected to have a significant influence in the global long-duration energy storage market, supporting the fight against the climate crisis and driving carbon neutrality initiatives.
